On Saturday, September 24, CareConnect honored five local
legends that make Longmont a great place to live! The first annual Longmont
Legends Awards were presented to Steve Eisler of Bay Window Catering (Legendary
Longmont Business), Officer Bobby Garcia (Legendary Longmont Community
Personality), Kathleen Norris (Legendary Longmont Volunteer), Ernie Clark and
Thelma Horton (Legendary Longmont Seniors).
CareConnect received many wonderful nominations and would
also like to honor and thank our nominees for their ongoing commitment to the
community. Longmont Legends Award nominees were: Dale Bruning, David Costello,
Crackpots, Max Fuller, The Lehman Family, The Longmont Regent Independent
Living, Fran McCarty, Mountain States Children’s Home, The Pumphouse (Dennis
Coombs), Bob Norris, Edwina Salazar, Jaimie Williams and Garry Wullschleger.
